About My Practice
Attorney Cynthia Whitaker has been a family law lawyer for over 30 years and admitted to practice for 40 years. Her practice is solely focused on representing clients in domestic relations matters, including issues involving disputed parenting plans, relocation, child support, parentage actions, complex dissolutions, family businesses, self-employed individuals, and high net worth cases. Cynthia has successfully litigated motions and trials and achieved numerous favorable settlement agreements on behalf of clients.

Cynthia has served as a pro tem Commissioner in the King County Family Law Court from 1988-2013.

Cynthia has served as Chair for many Continuing Legal Education seminars, including the annual “Hot Topics in Family Law” seminar hosted by the King County Bar Association for the last ten years.
Cynthia served as the Editor in Chief for the Seattle King County Bar Bulletin (then named).
Cynthia’s personal accomplishments include the extensive list of cases that she’s worked on over the years which have established case law in Washington State.
